Refunds
When you get money back, when you do not, and who decides. Short, because the policy is short.

Cancelling
Cancel any time from the Stripe billing portal, which you reach from your account page. Stripe is the only surface that can actually stop a charge, so it is the only one we send you to — a second cancel button on our page that did not reach Stripe would be the worst possible bug on this site.
Cancelling stops the next charge. It does not refund the period you are in, because you had the listing for it, and it does not end the listing early — you keep it until the date you have already paid up to. That date is Stripe’s, copied from the invoice, not one we work out ourselves.
When we refund
If something we broke made the listing not work for a meaningful part of a period — the sponsors page down, the rail not rendering, your banner lost, your page 500ing — tell us and we will refund that period. We would rather make that call in your favour than argue about what "meaningful" means.
If we suspend a paid listing by mistake, we put it back and do not charge for the gap. If we suspend it for something you did, we stop billing it from that point and do not refund the part of the period already served.
If you paid for Sponsor and the rail slot was never available to you, that is a refund of the difference, not an apology.
When we do not
Not getting the players you hoped for is not a refund. A listing buys presentation and a labelled slot beside searches; it has never bought traffic, ranking, or a position in a result, and the pages that sell it say so in those words.
A period you used and then changed your mind about is not a refund either. Cancel and the next one will not be charged.
How to ask
Use the feedback button on any page, or the contact address on the sponsors page. Say which cluster and which period. There is one person here, so the answer comes from a human and usually within a day or two.
Card disputes go through your bank whatever we say here, and nothing on this page limits that.
